Notre-Dame de Paris

My first stop at Paris, the Notre-Dame de Paris, also known as Notre-Dame Cathedral, is a medieval Catholic cathedral on the Île de la Cité in the fourth arrondissement. It  is one of the  famous of the Gothic cathedrals of the Middle Ages and is distinguished for it’s size, antiquity, and architectural interest. Although heavily crowded, one easily gets spellbkusp by the architectural grandeur, the lights, the stained glasses. Make sure you light a candle and offer your prayers as well and not just click your cameras!
